 This is a half-hearted attempt for a "police procedural" à la française. Dialogues and part of the action are rather clumsy. But you can see there Jeanne Moreau more beautiful than ever, and Paul Meurisse, Serge Reggiani, Simone Renant…

 The Grand Pavois was more luxurious than the Amiral, but externally the only difference seems to be the side trim. On the Amiral it ends at the back of the front door; on the Grand Pavois it curves down and ends over the rear wheel arch: Link to "www.google.co.uk"

For the YM 1957-58 only. The 1956 Grand Pavois difference from the Amiral was the two-colours livery with similar side trim.

 I'm not sure all young French/francophone people will understand it (bearer checks are "strongly discouraged" since 1979), but I really like that title.
It makes me think about the titles of the Le Poulpe series : La petite Écuyère a cafté, Arrêtez le Carrelage, Ouarzazate et mourir... :D
