Ep 4 is a bit odd - it jumps to late 70s, and themes don't really fit the first 3 eps. Surprised to find this series has never surfaced here before - it was famous in its day and a good watch now (plus there's a good 2CD soundtrack set which is as cheap as chips). imdb doesn't mention that part of ep 1.01 set in "Nigeria" but likely really South Africa as the cars have those diddy reflectors, and last portion of ep 4 filmed in Spain, which looks genuine. Otherwise it's all London or thereabouts. Sadly my copy is annoyingly fuzzy/grainy for several captures, so they're not as sharp as hoped. -- Last edit: 2024-04-20 22:23:40 |

Am now thinking that both the "Nigeria" scenes in ep 1 and the "Spanish" scenes in ep 4 are both actually South Africa, despite inclusion of some LHDs in "Spain". Comments welcome, and if agreed I'll remove Spanish identifiers and replace with ZA for those entries. |
