Most definately not a 3,0 CSL as all of them had flared and chromed wheel arches and a front spoiler, some of them even without a front bumper. After that I don't understand how it's possible to see that it's a 3,0 CS and not anything else. Production was as follow: - 2800 CS (Oct 1968 - Apr 1971) 9.400 units. - 2,5 CS (Apr 1974 - Dec 1975) 844 units. - 3,0 CS (Apr 1971 - Dec 1975) 11.666 units. - 3,0 CSi (Sep 1971 - Dec 1975) 8.142 units. And concerning the 3,0 CSL: May 1971 - Aug 1973 650 units. Aug 1972 - Aug 1973 c. 100 units (Additional side strip sticker, fuel injected, alloys fitted from factory). Sep 1973 - Dec 1975 c. 100 units (Rubber strip on top of the front wing, huge rear spoiler). -- Last edit: 2016-10-27 16:09:33 |

If US-spec - which is what it looks like - 2800 CS or 3.0 CSi are probably best shots. 2.5 CS was Europe only as far as I know, and maybe 3.0 CS as well. No headrests or tints, and early alloys now make me lean towards 2800 CS if extended bumpers are compatible. |
