Ford LTD Country Squire? |

Unless there were other wagon models in the 1980's, yeah. |

I thought Country Squire was only if it had wood panels. Maybe just an LTD Crown Victoria Wagon? |

not just "LTD Wagon"? |

LTD wagon was the smaller Fairmont-based one from 1983 and up. And how can you be sure it's an '88? You can't see the front end, full tailgate, nor dashboard. It could even be as old as an '83. |

The body seems more rounded and more aerodynamic than the 83-87 |

It was the same body. They only changed the front clip. 1983-1987 Ford Country Squire: ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-03-30 06:37:57 |

qwerty 86 is correct. This is an LTD/Crown Victoria Country Squire wagon. If you look closely at the main picture you'll notice the wood panels have either been removed or been painted over in Taxi yellow. You can still make out the outline of the wood trim that transitioned the wood panels from the painted areas of the body. -- Last edit: 2007-03-30 08:33:35 |

It's a 1988-1989 model. You can see the larger headrests that came only with this generation. -- Last edit: 2009-08-16 22:11:48 |
