This should be renamed as Bajaj RE. Orange coloured Bajaj REs were commonly used in Jakarta since the 1980s or 1990s and in some cases replaced the Daihatsu Midget based bemo in Jakarta. These orange Bajajs became a symbol of icon there but it was off the road the road in 2015 because the Jakartan governor replaced the old gasoline powered Bajaj REs with newer CNG models of the Bajaj RE and TVS models which were coloured in light blue.
