I mean, it makes a degree of sense that as destructive as the two are, they would get a much older vehicle to destroy every week, but realistically (And yes, I understand that it's not real,etc.) the LAPD detectives wouldn't be driving such an old car. Also, I wonder why the production would use such an old vehicle as newer Vics are easier to find.

Also, I wonder why the production would use such an old vehicle as newer Vics are easier to find. not entirely there are a decent amount of amazingly old vehicles laying around in many larger police departments that still get a decent amount of use (apparently the NYPD still has 2006 Crown Vics, since one appeared as a PSA auxiliary car last month in the complex I live in)
