Validated but noticed too late ep. number is missing. Also on many others in this series.

It appears in many episodes, not in a specific one. Anyway, this was episode 732.

I'd always enter the episode the capture is from. In a soap like this it appears in a bunch of episodes and then the character disappears.

Probably a 92+ Rover Mini Cooper with the bigger Mk6 arches. Sunroof and chrome mirrors probably from ticking boxes on the option chart rather than a specific limited edition.

Maybe a British Open special series?

British Open were mostly metallic dark green, though there may have been a few black as well - it was a subtle livery without flash bits, so very unlike this one with bright colour, lots of shiny chrome (which include the alloys), and bonnet flag. If it is a special edition it is a made-for-D/EU version which was not sold in UK - these are elusive for good info, but does not match those which I can find. So I think as before an ordinary Cooper with lots of option boxes ticked, but open to new info if a matching EU/D edition can be found.

I think the fabric sunroof ended up being an optional extra on standard Minis in the end.

What about the flag on the hood? I don't know if there have ever been some trim featuring it, or if it was an extra or simply a customization

Yes - fabric roof was option on late models - I've seen a date but lost the reference now.

The flag on the roof was a frequent option, but I suppose if you fit a sunroof it means you have to use the bonnet instead?? I think flags were done by sticker set and not paint, so would be dealer accessory rather than having to be factory fit.
