Hotchkiss per yellow headlights |

It's not a sufficient reason. But I'll make it a Hotchkiss anyway, and the other one a Willys, for the sake of welcome diversity. (… Until proved wrong, naturally.) -- Last edit: 2016-01-14 21:16:08 |

And only the French would put whitewalls on a jeep ![]() |

For the white walls, maybe it's the trace of some former official involvment (vehicle used in a parade, for instance). Yes, mike962, but many of the French 'real' Willys were rebuild, part by part, in France, with yellow lights too. |

And nobody amoung you, chitty-chatters, to remark that there are screen rests here, which should make it not an authentic Hotchkiss but a MB/GPW/French-rebuilt jeep? Do you have the same impression as me, that the mirror looks like the one of the GPW seen here? -- Last edit: 2016-01-14 22:57:08 |

DidierF. Nice detail on the Hotchkiss screenrest. Always fun to learn something new. Keep in mind the link also shows at the bottom of the page the windscreen rest and the hood support block both. |

Ah yes, indeed. Tiny detail but useful when watchable. Now, 4x4peru, for this one: MB or GPW? |

Very likely Hotchkiss but w/o details to confirm, MB would be the default. Does anyone see a defining Hotchkiss trait? |
