And what's that "CFE" badge? It is rather "Shelvoke & Drewry" btw -- Last edit: 2007-02-06 20:05:05 |

Just guessing at the moment something like Carmichael Fire Equipment? Registered as SD (Shelvoke & Drewry) but they look to be badged just as 'Shelvoke'. The vehicle details for YHV 198T are: Date of Liability 01 07 1994 Date of First Registration 26 07 1979 Year of Manufacture 1979 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 8830CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Heavy Oil Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour RED |

The Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Division of Shelvoke made the cab and chassis in collaboration with Carmichael who made fire equipment. Shelvoke as the makers name in a publicity brochure. ![]() Two weight classifications of the chassis were made by Shelvoke but I guess its not possible to say which one this is. |

The CFE badge in centre stands for 'Cheshire Fire Engineering ' now defunct of course like most British companies ![]() They were an offshoot of Jennings who were owned by ERF. |
