4x4peru wrote Minor point. The Willys reference above @ 8.20 are both of the M38. Note the windshield, headlight guard, lifting shackles and cowl battery box cover. It can be confusing especially when modified over the years.


Based on what peru says, there were apparently at least two jeeps in use during the show's later years: one was the civilian CJ...

...and this other one. Ironically, this was apparently the "more military" of the two but for some reason wasn't used as much.

 Nice detailed pics of the M38. The rounded windshield shows the closed/secured center panel. The four bolt heads (two in each outer panel) secure the metal rifle holder inside the windshield. The cowl cover for the second battery (first 24v Jeeps) is also visible. Headlight guards, hinged grille, lifting shackles...plenty of M38 details visible. The USA bumper marking are incorrect.
