No, except that 2200 had brushed nylon seat trim. So 2nd thumb might mean 2200?? |

2200s were never imported to Italy: Therefore a 2000 TC. |

Seems that in 1974 a batch of special TCs was built (known as Series 868), split between Italy and Nigeria with 2-litre engines instead of 2.2 - presumably for tax reasons in Italy - not apparent why Nigeria needed them as well, but it also got a batch of 100 special 2-litre SCs (Series 869) at the same time. 812 Series 868 TCs built 1974-77 - of the 560 built in 1974, 454 went to Italy - unclear if any more went there 75-77. So, because of upholstery, I thin this is a 74 Italian batch 2000TC. |

Tax reason was the reason for Italy. Thanks, dsl. I didn't know that in UK the 2200 had superseded the 2000. The latter and the 3500 P6 were available for Italy till the launch of the SD1. -- Last edit: 2015-08-02 11:08:49 |
