1977 made-for-TV sports drama based on the true story of the relationship between Penn State football player John Cappelletti, Jr. and his terminally-ill little brother Joey, who has leukemia. As Joey fights his leukemia, John strives to become the great football player his brother wants him to be, even striving for and winning the 1973 Heisman trophy with his brother's encouragement. Three years after his older brother's Heisman win, Joey passed away on April 8th, 1976 at only 13 years old :( Rest in peace, Joey Cappelletti. This film stars Marc Singer, Jeff Lynas, Geraldine Paige, and Gerald S. O'Loughlin.

Playing John and Joey's eldest brother Mike is Steve Guttenberg in his first movie!

The reason for kanji subtitles in some of the captures is because these images were sourced from a VHS rip of a Japanese print put out by Toei Video.

Set from 1971 to 1973
Airdate: April 6th, 1977
