EL was the Colt's most basic trim level, with black plastic bumpers and no wheelcovers. This one is a Colt EXE, a special edition launched in 1987 in several european countries (I remember them in Belgium), with special cosmetic equipments. EXE badges are visible near the indicator repeaters, and on the trunk lid. It may seem strange that this car was still registered as an EL, but stranger things have happened at Mitsubishi. |
