3500 with no doubt. Didn't survive to 1983, no trace in DVLA. If we trust the plates were real, R suffix means 8/1976-7/1977. Possible. |

Plate is fake combination. 74+ P6s had tints and headrests, and by 76-77 police were switching to 3500 SD1s anyway. So 72+ for S in usual Metropolitan police livery. |
