1977 Ford Granada L 2 litre on an R-reg. This car belonged to a colleague of my father at Max’s Mini Cabs in Borehamwood & it was blue with a vinyl roof. The studio specifically wanted a 1977 R-reg & initially approached my father who had a Romany Bronze 1977 Granada & arranged to have the car for one to two weeks filming, however he had an accident just prior to filming. My father recommended this blue Granada in the picture as it was the only other car available that met their requirements. This was c1984 which matches the final season. Dad repaired his own car & forty years later wishes he still had it. |
