It looks a little fake, especially when the front explodes. So it is maybe not a real truck?

I think it's a real Casspir, but with false bodywork added so that the front can explode without damaging the real structure.

BAE Land Systems Casspir

badlymad wrote BAE Land Systems Casspir

BAE only acquired the company in 2004. Any Casspir in private ownership is likely to be a 1980s model sold off after the end of apartheid. (The Casspir was originally built for use by the army in Angola and Namibia, and for police operations suppressing protests in the townships.)
Quote Designed by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), some 2500 Casspir series APC's were originally built by TFM of South Africa, which was subsequently taken over by Reumech OMC. Reumech in turn was taken over by Vickers Defence Systems of the UK and renamed Vickers OMC. When Alvis purchased Vickers Defence Systems to become Alvis Vickers, Vickers OMC became Alvis OMC. In 2004 BAE Systems acquired Alvis Vickers and Alvis OMC was renamed Land Systems OMC.

I would think that the correct name to use would be TFM or Reumech OMC.

So basically, it's a South African Police Truck, like that one in Jake 2.0.
