This looks like a DKW F12, if I'm not mistaken. At least the pressings of the wheel arch and the door look similar Link to "4.bp.blogspot.com" http://cartype.com/pics/3339/full/dkw_f12_63.jpg . -- Last edit: 2015-02-12 19:30:35 |

the wheel couldfit, too. I ws irritated about the triangle-window in the door (none here: http://www.fahrzeugbilder.de/1024/dkw-junior-de-luxe-1961-42309.jpg ), but the DKW in zodiacs links does have them, too. |

It seems that it came in several different versions. Possibly, but I'm far from certain, something like this might be likely: -The model, then called Junior, was introduced in August 1959 with very little equipment. Possibly sold as MY 1960-62, and without quarter lights (= the triangular windows). -In autumn 1961 a better equipped model was introduced, called Junior de Luxe. It was possibly only sold as MY 1962, and had quarter lights. -In January 1963 an update was introduced with bigger front windscreen, but largely based on the de Luxe version. -The F 12, at least, had quarter lights, while the F 11 possibly had not. I cannot see if the model in question has the earlier or later windscreen. |
