On the left? I guess that the car to identify was the Mini on the right (which should be listed as supermini rather than coupé)

A Canadian spec British Leyland Mini from the late 70s.

This movie was filmed in Toronto Canada and involved the local Mini Club there which is why they used Minis with the odd looking bumpers required in Canada from 1976-1980 when the last Mini was sold in Canada, This particular car is 78 or later when they moved the turn signals from under the bumper to in the grille

It was filmed in Montreal, in fact.

2nd that Gag, many scenes were filmed in Old Montreal, I was there for it. Some scenes were likely done in London & Paris, but a large percentage of the filming was done in Montreal.
