I don't agree. This car is a long wheel base, clearly distinguished from the shorter one by the rear door. So that I believe it is a W108.019 280 SEL 1968+. |

I looked at this entry yesterday, and did roam about a little. My first thought was that it indeed was a streched version (+ 100 mm), but when comparing with different versions it doesn't add up. Please compare this http://wiki.mercedes-benz-classic.com/index.php/Datei:300SEB.jpg early W 108 with the above one and you'll see it's not much difference. I believe it's a (1965) 1966-67 (1968) 250 S/ 250 SE/ 300SE but with a slightly out of perspective camera angle making it look like a SEL. Comments? |
