Bloody hell...what was going on at Ford when they decided to market a special edition named "Popular"? I suppose there were Fiesta Cortinas and Fiesta Zephyrs as well??

Also used as a model name on the Y type 8 HP saloon from 1935, on the 103E from 1953 to 1959, and on the 100E entry model from 1959 until the range died in 1962. The whole point was that Ford wanted to position itself as a producer of good value but reliable vehicles in the mind of the public.
