This one is a bit of a mystery. It is obvious it is a medium sized American touring car from about 1927 or 1928.. It has four wheel brakes and has a two tone paint scheme which several makes used at the time on touring bodies. The distinctive feature is the rear doors which are 'suicide' style which discounts Chrysler, General Motors, Studebaker and Willys from the equation. |

Those rear suicide doors, together with some other body features, suggest a Packard to me... Couldn't it be a Single Six from a bit earlier - say, from 1924? |

I thought of Packard but this car looks too small. The shortest wheelbase Packard was 126" but this car looks smaller. Packards of that time were almost all on disc wheels. The windshield is wrong for Packard as well. There is a 226 here - Link to "www.sportscardigest.com" - but this one looks to have 14 spoke rear wheels maybe? |

Maybe one of the minor makes of the era: Gardner, Jordan, Elcar or even Moon. |
