The only exception would be a pre 1987 760 (without painted door mirror caps), but I've never seen any without a plastic sticker of two narrow lines (black or grey depending on base colour) stretching from just behind the front indicators all the way to the rear http://betterparts.org/photo/volvo-760-04.html . Not a 940 because the sheet metal between the bonnet (hood) and the windscreen isn't bent, close to the windscreen. Also, earlier models had more ellaborate window surrounding partly made of polished aluminium.
