I don't know if it's this one, but there's an episode set in Ireland where an American car is used as a Garda car for a shot of a suspect being bundled into the back. You only see the back half of the car. |

I know that's a Granda, but I think they shot the interiors in the studio and used an American car as a stand-in to save the cost of bringing the actor to Ireland. Murder, She Wrote seems to have had an odd strategy for episodes set abroad. Occasionally they would go and film an episode in a foreign country, but they would film part of it at the studio in Los Angeles.
