2009-10 by the badge placement. 2008 didn't have the rear Chrysler badge:

I just checked a lot of 2008/2009 models and it does appear you are correct. Future reference when comparing badges; try and use the same trim level ;)

Sometimes with different trim levels they move the badges around (Ford Escape 2008-2012 comes to mind with the Hybrid & V6 badge moving). It does not seem this is the case. I will wait for other admins to chime in on this change before I go and change the lot of them.

It might be better (if there are a lot of them) to get a list of the URLs and post a mass batch in the forum here: Link to "imcdb.opencommunity.be"

I'll post them on the forum then. Of course, I'll stick to the same trim level.

No worries. It is just causing the Admins headaches when they log in and see the entire comments page with your name on it :) Rule of thumb - mass changes you find should be done via the forum so the comments isn't flooded.

That does not mean you cannot post in the comments but if you are copying and pasting the same comment like a dozen times or more kind of defeats the purpose and it may get lost in the comment section.

The reason I am not mass applying or asking antp to mass apply the chassis codes is because I want to make sure they were originally listed properly and while I am at it I am adding the chassis. I would normally only ask if it was a new chassis; i.e we found out the 1992-1995 Taurus was [XXX], found out a certain market has a different name (mexican cheyenne), or most recently (doesn't apply really in the US) the MK number for a group of cars.

I should do that with the Dakota and the other changes I commented on. I wondered why they weren't getting changed. Thanks for letting me know, I'll just post them there to make things easier.

Oh, yeah most certainly for mass changes like that. It also takes time for the admins to verify your/anyone's findings. I never change anything until I know for certain what it posted is accurate.

For the Dodge Dakota instance I have never really looked at them in depth so that is why I left them go. So it could also be that none of the admins have had time to validate new findings to ID models. I know it took months until the 2008-2012 Ford Escapes were updated when I found out the hatch had a handle added in 2010.

I also remember in the past with the Ford Explorer Sport Tracs I found the badge placement changed and I had to private message baube on the forum as I did not know at the time to post in the mass change thread I linked you.

I highly doubt anyone is snubbing your posts on purpose it just seems when the volume is that much it gets buried in the comment pages ;)

I’ll try to keep it at a minimum. I’ve been a little more active than usual and since im not an admin, I try to make sure they get noticed just so they don’t get lost.

Now I understand the comments on Link to "imcdb.opencommunity.be"
For change requests there, you have to either explicitly say what has to be changed to what, with which criteria, or provide a list of page addresses to update.
