There was no BMW 340 - the EMW was based on the BMW 326 from prewar times. This one looks to have the BMW logo (but it was still an EMW) so 1949-52. If I can pinpoint exactly when in 1949 the 340 was introduced we can say the origin with certainty. EDIT: Introduced 1948, mass-production commenced October 1949, so origin GDR is correct. -- Last edit: 2018-05-05 22:03:24 |
