@Sandie/Dsl/Gamer/ anyone else from Europe. Maybe S13A? Were there two versions sold oversea? The 1994-1998 version seen above and the a similar 1993-1997 US Spec version? Looking on here: Link to "www.theparking.eu" - i found a few with amber turn signals and the US style trunk/tail lamps. Some have a repeater others don't. I'm trying to clean up the Probes and want to see if all the 'made for' tags are accurate. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks fellas! |

@dhill_cb7 All Probes offered by German Ford dealers from July 1993 were imported by Ford and specially converted according to German regulations. An EU version was not introduced until the end of 1994. Ford did the same with the 1st generation Probe from 12/1990: Transmission oil coolers were added, taillights with amber indicators were mounted, furthermore third brake lights were removed, daytime running lights deactivated and towing eyes were attached and these vehicles officially offered by German Ford dealers. All the other cars are gray imports by various US car dealers, which is why US Spec ones appeared on occasion (general info for all sorts of US cars in Germany, as there were loads of companies specialized in importing usual/ unusual vehicles from overseas). Thanks AnimatroniXx! Question were there trim levels or just 16/24 valve rear badges? Did all have fog lamps? That eould make this one at least a 1994 by the EU style rear as this is clearly not a US Spec conversion. |

I had a great picture of the rears of a US and a European Probe side by side, unfortunately I can't find it anymore. |
