Early 1991-92 fourth generation model, with the skirted rear wheel wells. (00:23:54 // 00:23:56 // 00:25:10) On the left: a Hyundai Accent; On the right: a Chevrolet Silverado. -- Last edit: 2014-04-19 02:00:21 |

1991 only |

Didn't the opened wheel wells come only with the 1993 MY? |

I think 1991 based on the black B-pillar, filmed in 2011 it's easy to assume the rims could have been changed after 91 the B-Pillar was in car color too Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" -- Last edit: 2014-04-19 12:35:21 |

We're talking about the rear wheel wells, which are part of the body, not just a trim (1991-92 model // 1993-96 model) Undocumented anywhere, but ok. -- Last edit: 2014-04-19 15:39:48 |

My understanding is that is correct. Color-keyed pillars for 1992. |

Yes but like it has already been pointed out only 1991 had black pillars. Just do a search for "black pillars" and "body colored pillars" on the site and you will see plenty of documentation. -- Last edit: 2014-04-19 21:18:16 |

I just see 3 or 4 people of the IMCDb crew saying that 92+ Caprice had black pillars, without external source (1) But as I said before, that's ok. If I want external sources, I'll search them. Some researches on pictures said me the same thing, but I now prefer being careful with that kind of source _____ (1) And there is also a "It is not the first 1993+ with black pillars that we see." among the comments... -- Last edit: 2014-04-21 00:12:37 |

One more 1993 with black pillars: /vehicle.php?id=47285 If we had to document every comment, the database would be too big (it already tends to be for the current site architecture, hence the slowdowns at some times) - putting links and pictures in all cases, even the simple/obvious ones, is rather a waste of space. -- Last edit: 2014-04-22 18:08:42 |
