Talbot, not SX, so 1981+ GL/GLS, as seems still not with full black bumpers. -- Last edit: 2011-04-17 23:07:04 |

And an early French-spec Van Hool T8 Alizee even further left. |

I think this was a 1978-79 colour so a Simca and not a Talbot in my opinion, but I am not an expert in recognizing such cars by other details... Are you sure about a Talbot ? |

Looking at the first two thumbs I have the impression that the bumper aren't fully black so a 1978 Simca Horizon GL. -- Last edit: 2015-07-31 11:47:36 |

This is what I wrote, that bumpers aren't all black (plastic). It means nothing anyway, as early Talbots had metal bumpers too. Such side strips were used in GL/GLS since 1981, when they were already branded Talbot: http://www.autominded.net/brochure/talbot/Horizon%2019811415.jpg However looking at them closer, they can be not original, as they seem to be thinner. Other thing are wheels, INDEED more typical for early Simcas, but could be to meet in early Talbots too. The color can be confusing, it is (old) movie and after all it isn't very different than this red of 1981 Talbot: http://pics.imcdb.org/0is49/talbothorizon3ez2.7308.jpg |

My hunch would be a late Talbot poverty trim such as 83+ LE (in UK at least). Skinny wheels, no chrome, no headrests. And it looks brand shiny new and I think the orange is very late colour. Is 3rd thumb definitely same ca, or just a passing red one?? |

It's from another scene, maybe different one. -- Last edit: 2015-07-31 13:41:49 |

Since MY 1983 all French cars had full plastic bumpers, this one still has metal ones. They didn't have LE there. |
