I'm not 100% convinced it's a Defender with this view, could also be a late 110 SW from c1987-90 as they had flat roofs and door handles too... Approximate year range is then 12 years which makes it useless really. |

No Defender grille badge, but no badge above grille either, so maybe not reliable evidence. However it looks from my picture book as if the hole above number plate (starting handle??) disappeared with Defender launch. So agree 87-90 110 - door handles were Oct 86+, black bumpers may mean Nov 87+ and smooth roof listed as Dec 88+. Despite body colour arch "eyebrows", sunroof and tints, it doesn't seem to be a County which is listed as body colour grille/headlight panels from Nov 87. |
