Nah, not formal enough. THIS is the 1976 Grand Marquis: http://www.mercuryarchive.com/1973to1978/1976MercuryMarquisBrghm2Dr.jpg This is what LTD's looked like from 1975-78: http://www.flee.com/ltd/ads/76_ltd_advert.jpg http://www.flee.com/ltd/brochure/ltdbrochure.htm -- Last edit: 2006-10-27 15:52:54 |

Interesting. I knew the LTD got hidden headlamps in the later years, but didn't think they got the fender skirt too. |

It has those details because it is a Landau model. Base and Brougham had exposed lights and no fender skirt. -- Last edit: 2009-09-28 00:05:30 |

If a car swerves it gets two stars? I didn't know that. |

It's technically part of the scene. I classify these types of vehicles as two-star cars also. Although this is where disputes usually arise over the star system. |

It's my point of view too ![]() ![]() |

Yes and it is often a problem... I often hesitate between the two. If the car is well visible or horns I usually give 2 star, I think ( ![]() About "part of the scene", it can happen to background cars too, hence the difficulty... -- Last edit: 2009-09-28 17:44:43 |

silvertrim around turn signals and movie production year makes it a 1976-1977 |

If I may pinch-hit for Somename, let me point out that this car does not carry the halo roof, meaning it is a 1977. All LTD Landaus for '75 and '76 with vinyl roofs had that feature. -- Last edit: 2015-07-13 14:28:54 |
