You can tell because the raised roof roof rack is shorter and has a center support. Subaru never made a Legacy Brighton, L, LSi, or 2.5GT with a raised roof, all of them are flat roofs. It also has the 95-97 single piece headlights, 95 Outbacks had the same bumper cover as an L, and 97-99 Outbacks have a hood scoop, so it's a 1996 model. Looks more like an Outback that was painted a single color to me. Needs to be changed to 1996 Legacy Outback [BG]. Baube wrote yeah, i think you're right...just so used to see them with the scoop...
