I know for a fact that the bus driver who was shot was driving a Orion V. But I think the fleet number is correct. |

Dramatization of the shooting of bus driver Conrad Johnson, the snipers' final victim before they were apprehended. The actual bus was an Orion like these: Link to "darkroom.baltimoresun.com" Link to "darkroom.baltimoresun.com" |

It is a 1980 New Flyer. The bus behind is GM Newlook. |

This is a Flyer D900 or D901, not a New Flyer D40. |

I recently watch a another documentary on CI Channel and there was an interview with Conrad Johnson's mother and she mentioned during the spree, her son would make sure that his passengers that got on and off his bus would be safe and if necessary help them to get on and off safely. Johnston survived the initial shooting, but had succumbed to his injuries after arriving at the hospital. -- Last edit: 2020-11-20 06:50:52 |

Maybe the only time Ride-On was ever portrayed in a movie. However, I don't think Ride-On ever operated Flyers (at least in 2002). Mostly Orions and Gilligs (as of 2007): Link to "en.wikipedia.org" Goof, there's a Canadian-spec no parking sign (black octagon in red circle with slash through it). -- Last edit: 2022-09-08 18:33:40 |
