Karosseriewerk Fritz Frickinger of Augsburg, also known for VW T1 - T4 funeral vehicles, offered an incredible lot of DKW Schnellaster conversions, which were sold via the DKW dealer network. The van above is very likely one of them, but we probably won't find out.
