We need a new category 'Fork-lifts'... ![]() I can not call this a warehouse vehicle I presume? ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-10-16 15:02:03 |

They always destroy the best vehicles in movies (Ford Tempos come to mind). |

Well, as I said lots of time, somebody should find a good name for that category. In French I called that "Engins de manutention", so it can include forklifts and airport tugs. |

I mentioned a while ago that the best category name is 'ground conveyor' ('véhicules de manutention' in French, 'Flurförderzeug' in German). |

I think it just looks like a supersized forklift. |
◊ 2006-10-16 17:39 |
Well, that's obvious... but it does not help us very much ![]() |

Just class it as a heavy-duty forklift. ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-10-16 17:40:56 |

Antoine, just a reminder for you, before we start it again next month! ![]() |

How about "Container Handler" http://www.eliftruck.com/ run your cursor over the different pictures of fork lifts to see what their called |

But then it does not include airport tugs. "vehicle to move things"? ![]() So I will change that to "ground conveyor" as Alex suggested, if nobody is against that name or have a better one... -- Last edit: 2006-10-17 13:44:47 |

Et en Français ou en Allemand, ça donne quoi? |
◊ 2006-10-17 14:02 |
Just delete all of them from the IM-CAR(!)-DB. |
◊ 2006-10-17 14:33 |
We would have to delete trucks, bikes, busses, etc. then ![]() |
◊ 2006-10-17 14:35 |
En allemand c'est "Gabelstapler" semble-t-il, mais je n'ai aucune idée de ce que ça veut dire ![]() En français c'est "Engin de manutention" comme dit plus haut. |
◊ 2006-10-17 14:36 |
Gabel, c'est "fourche". Ou fourchette... |
◊ 2006-10-17 16:44 |
The names I gave above are the officially used terms for the vehicles of this group. |
◊ 2006-10-17 22:25 |
OK I renamed the english category name. |
◊ 2006-10-18 12:46 |
I agree 100%! Also all cars from TV series and music videos and all that stuff. |
◊ 2006-10-18 13:46 |
And what about all these military vehicle that you identify so well? |
◊ 2006-10-18 14:19 |
I don't know a thing about military vehicles! I'm a pacifist! Delete them all! |
