The Pacific Electric Railway Company used buses in its urban mass transit system as well as railcars. The buses appear to have been supplied by Yellow Coach, so this may be a Yellow Coach, probably a variant of the Model 700 series, I think a 709 with only a 3.72m wheelbase, and pretty new when this film was made. They also bought Twin Coach buses, but this does not have the engine cooling louvres that were present on the side engined Twin Coach models, unless this is a smaller model with only one engine, on the righthand side of the bus. -- Last edit: 2013-05-12 22:48:39 |
