Is there a reason it is specifically '93? It could be earlier. The wheels do not look stock, I'd list as 1987-93. |

1987-1993 Mustang GT with what appear to be aftermarket Cobra 5 spoke rims. Only the GTs came with those fog lights. |

The car is actually an automatic 1992 Mustang GT with Cobra R rims, exhaust and suspension modifications. Two cars were used during production. To my the best of my knowledge BOTH cars still survive and are in New York. Car #1: 1992 Mustang GT VIN# 1FACP42E9NF145668 - This is the more famous of the two cars. It was used for all exterior shots and was driven by Leonardo DiCaprio. It is pictured above. Car #2 VIN# Unknown - This car was used for all interior shots. The interior was modified for camera mounts but in all other ways it was nearly identical to car #1. Will update with more information. |

I liked this vehicle choice in the movie. Very subtle color and overall cues, tasteful fox body, which you rarely see. |
