![]() It’s an upper-class Limited edition with power deployable and retractable running boards. The AdvanceTrac badge is visible on the liftgate, denoting the usual suite of electronic systems such as electronic stability control (ESC), roll stability control (RSC), and dual phase traction control system (TSC) which uses both engine management and "ABS brake locked" differentials. |

What I find most interesting about this vehicle is that it has Gotham State Police markings. If you notice, the Crown Victoria in the very background also has similar markings, yet was nowhere to be seen in any other scene. |

So is Gotham named after a fictional state, like New York State has New York City named after it? Or is that just a goof? |

I think it is a fictional state. As for the Crown Victoria, I saw it when they were storing vehicles in a lot near where I live during filming here in Brooklyn. ![]() |

I agree, definitely a fictional state. Even the license plates read "GOTHAM." |

Various UK police forces use things like Range Rovers, Jaguar XFs, Audis and BMWs (3 series, 5 series, X5). I bet big American police forces tend to have more helicopters though. |

Aren't the British police models typically "downgraded?" That is, they don't have the usual luxuries such as leather interiors as their civilian counterparts? Then again, I know that many British police forces have different doctrines and requirements as far as police vehicles go, such as having specific "response cars" and "traffic cars." |
