Any reason why it can't be a Kia Pride? |

@kudos: not to forget the Celtic Cross. |

I think it is much more likely to be a Mazda. |

Sorry, I disagree. Where I live, there are still quite a few Prides around, but I haven't seen a Mazda 121 of that generation since at least 2007. |

Where I live I've never seen a Kia Pride but that's not the point. This setting is supposed to be in the UK. Carpages.co.uk lists five Mazda 121's and 1 Kia Pride for sale so it would appear Mazda is more common of the two. |

Then what about the statistics? Mazda 121 Kia Pride And about carpages.co.uk: all of those Mazda 121s that are up for sale are not of this generation, while the one Kia up for sale is. -- Last edit: 2013-02-12 14:09:23 |

According to the statistics Kia indeed seems to have been sold in higher numbers and there are more left on the road (although few Kia's are 3-door whereas Mazda I believe was uniquely a 3-door). But as we know the cars are virtually similar. So it could be listed in either way... |

In UK this Mazda 121 was very brief - Feb 88-March 91 3 door only 1.1L and 1.3LX, plus Options, Suntop and SR limited editions of LX - did not sell well and Mazda did not push it very hard. Pride was June 91-June 99 3 or 5 door - lots of versions 1.1 and 1.3 and special editions. Trelew is a Cornish village in Mylor parish - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trelew,_Cornwall - not sure if it has a Co-op. |

Err, you are are stil aware, that this is an ANIMATED scene from an ANIMATED movie? So all these excitements here are quite obsolete... |

I've noticed something else. This one has the larger bumpers unique to the Kia Pride - so it can't be a Mazda 121. |

@Ingo: this is not the first time dsl has displayed excitement for an animated movie: /movie_775489-L-illusionniste.html ![]() |

Excitement - no . Dedication to the pursuit of objective accuracy and to help others who care about Kias - yes ![]() |
