I like the the banking clearing house idea. Also suits the plain inconspicuous livery - milk floats usually have branding.

Doesn't have to be in the City. There is a large building south of the river into which they disappear and deliver who knows what? It is opposite what was (still is?) probably the cleanest public lavatory in London into which I used to disappear with similar purpose when returning to Euston Station after a liquid lunch.
