Q-Ball ◊ 2012-10-08 00:29	the Custom 500 was never used by the NYPD to my knowledge, and neither were most of the vehicles that they have used on this show, seeing as it was shot mostly in a soundstage in California. It WAS however, used by transit police.

It WAS however, used by transit police. You never know... The NYPD had some random off fleet cars. I remember on a NYPD history website there was a photo of a 1973 Chevy Impala/Bel Air in NYPD Blue paint on patrol in the Bronx.
