According to my BMW bible (Rosellen: Das weiss-blaue wunder, Seewald 1983/Prisma 1987) the 326 was made in three versions: -Saloon, 4 doors, 5 seats (body by Ambi-Budd, Berlin) -Cabriolet, 4 doors, 5 seats (body by Baur, Stuttgart) -Cabriolet, 2 doors, 5 seats (body by Baur, Stuttgart) The 320 was made in two versions: -Saloon, 2 doors, 4 seats (body by BMW themselves?) -Cabriolet, 2 doors, 4 seats (body by Baur, Stuttgart) As with the 320 the 321 was also made in those two versions. The problem is to choose between 320 and 321 where the 321 looked like 320 but had the front axle from the 326, slightly wider track and wider wheels. |

Here we can compare photos of 320 and 321.Clearly visible difference between this two models are doors: normal opened, with triangle window in 320 and suicide with one part window in 321-> so 321 in my opinion http://www.bmwdrives.com/bmw_cars_archive/bmw-cars-archive-1930.php -- Last edit: 2012-08-29 14:18:35 |

^ They certainly produced 320's with suicide doors if you look for them, so not a reliable identifier... in period: |
