The one with the rear oval window is the 1956/57 version.

The Brezel could be a late one from 1952/53, because it's the new bumper (sure, can be replaced).

What about the larger taillights? :??:

Easily replaceable, too. Some owners did that, because the original (nowadays extreme high priced collectibles) had a really bad light.

@ingo, @rjluna2: I'm a little confused, are you both talking about the same car? Which car has replaced its taillights?

-Agree with the Ovali, it is a 56-57 (Dual, chrome exhaust pipes as well as the taillights)

-The Brezel does have the brakelight lost in 52, and still has the smaller taillights as well? Also can't see the chrome around the rear windows from 52 on (Okay, maybe not all got them)

BTW, isn't the Ovali a Sonnendach Limousine?

Interesting car behind Oval. Any popular German car...

@130rapid: no. No Opel, Hansa or Ford. I'd go for a British Ford.

@tore-40: the Standard kept the chrome-less window rubbers. If it's an older Brezel -I'm not sure about that- it has the newer bumpers. It's not the late 40ies "Sickenstoßstange" anyways.

I didn't think so at first but you're right (however strange way of screwing plate to tail). :sun:

Well, it's a Swiss plate, which weren't issued in annother size. So it was -as in Italy before 1976 and Russia after 1992- the owner's problem to fix the plate (in a way, he could open the trunk after that)

It's a British Ford Anglia [101E], 1954-7.

until that dialog i thought the Brezel has correct smaller rear lights, was confused too, if there was Ovali with small ones in the beginning, as i thought this is the differenece between them!
was searching the whole night for Brezel + Ovali, with original taillight, not that easy, as they don´t carry sign saying: hey i am originaly faked
once i read a sign on magazin de souvenirs in foreign country not to name:
originaly fake products

@ingo, "Sickenstoßstange" ha, Got Ya, as it contains the important car issue "Sicke" noone can translate in english
although there is a machine called the "Engländer" to make it
+ all british cars have such Sicke, this one has around the normal plate position
it is design element and to stiffen up body as weel
of course you can circumscribe it as kinky bended edge in plate, but it´s not the same!
