Was sold as Chevrolet in Mexico. Also, the International trim got a "Eurosport" door badge, like the US Chevy Celebrity had.

Ok. It just doesnt make sense to me that they left the Oldsmobile grille-with olds symbol-on a car rebadged as a Chevrolet.

Yeah, it's kind of silly. But I guess it's the best way to list it, even though they don't bother to change any Oldsmobile badges. (I'm open to other arguments)
Same with Mercury cars sold as Fords but still badged Mercury
or Hyundai vehicles sold under Dodge but still badged with the H
etc

1990 was the first year it was badged GM Cutlass in Mexico. Previous iterations, while putting strong emphasis on it being a GM product, still featured the Chevrolet name and logo in ads alongside the GM logo. This was dropped for 90 and the car was simply referred to as "Cutlass, de General Motors." (although yes, Oldsmobile and Buick logos on grille and hubcaps were retained)

And what probably proves my point most of all, the USDMs have Oldsmobile on the rear panel while on the GMs this is deliberately replaced with the model name

plus translating the Oldsmobile slogan of the time but replacing it with "General Motors"...

They were also shortened eventually from "Cutlass Eurosport" to just "GM Eurosport" the earliest evidence I have found is from 1991.
