A 1995+ model would have a hood side badge (the blurry sticker visible in the main picture is not at the correct location, it's not the concerned badge). And of course a 1993+ silver badge under the grille. But afonso's thumbnail shows clearly a 1989-92 orange badge → 1989 as default model year, as already set.
