probably because it's Km/h ;)

100 km = 60 miles

he probably reached 200km/h which means 120 miles

here in Mercedes 190 1984 Nurburgring opening event

F1 champions were invited to take part and with those who accepted they added other F1 drivers, cars were road going 190 with slight modifications for safety

back in 1984 Senna was just a hot shot rookie in first F1 season with a backmarker team and you see he totally owned their asses !!
