dsl ◊ 2012-03-20 21:11	I say keep it as 54 as that's most accurate for production date, also stops it getting lost in the thousands of 55 entries. But I'm a lone voice against the tide of Model Year Supremacists and their all-pervading beliefs.

johnfromstaffs ◊ 2012-03-21 09:34	There are many cases throughout this database of British cars launched at the Earl's Court Motor Show in year X, normally held in October, being referred to as commencing in year X + 1. From my motor industry experience, gained with both a supplier, GKN, and a manufacturer, Alvis, the cars would have been tooled up and the tracks made ready well before they went on sale.
