I would list that as a Pontiac Fiero Mera, rather than under "Mera" make. Except if they were registered like that? But as that page describe them as "Fiero Mera"... And they say "The MERA was not endorsed by GM but was a Pontiac dealer option". -- Last edit: 2006-08-21 18:10:20 |

that is a real ferrari 308,the mera was a semi offical option offered on 87+88 fieros,on the mera the headlights are angled inwards and are bigger |

This is not a Fiero. It is a real Ferrari 308. The Fiero had a large side window - not split like the 308 (note the fixed glass at the A pillar). This is the easiest way to tell the kits from the real deal. |

While filming the scene with this car, Ghandi slamming the guy's head into the car repeatedly actually put a dent in the bodywork which made Weird Al and crew very nervous because they didn't know if the damage was covered under Orion's insurance since the car was a rental! Fortunately, it was. |
