I would vote for a '66 AMC marlin for the lack of the black colour on the roof and rear but I am not sure this is an only 1965 feature.

This is not a'65,65's had rambler spelled out on the front of the hood, 66 and 67 did not

No, it's a '65 with the nameplate missing.
Note the absence of a prominent horizontal grille divider. Also, the '66 Marlin had squared off headlamp bezels.
