Dylan's 356 breaks down, so he replaces it with a beautiful 964, much to Jim Walsh's disapproval. Dylan later changes his mind and gets rid of the car by the end of the episode and it's never seen again, sadly. He then uses a Jeep Wrangler briefly and then is back to the 356 once again.

The 964 is my favorite 911 of all time. It's much better looking than the black-plastic plagued 3.2 Carrera of the 80s. The 964 is fresh, simple, modern and classic all at once, the epitome of what the 911 is all about. I especially like the thin red taillight strip and the "happy" front turn indicators. Add in four wheel drive and you have a winner (although I am not sure if this is a Carrera 4 or 2, it's impossible to tell at this angle).

I especially like this 964 in striking silver with chrome alloy's I've never seen before on a 964, they look similar or identical to the discoid mid-life 928 wheels. I would typically think chrome wheels on a Porsche would be in poor taste, but I think they are factory and look really cool. Hey, the 356 had chrome wheels.

Does anyone know exactly when the U.S. spec side mirrors changed from flagpole to tear-drop shape (I prefer flagpole shape!)I assume '92 or '93, the 964 only lasted until around '94, so I placed this around a '90.

Mirrors changed for 91my on Turbo only and other 911s for 92my. No sign that US changeover was any different.
