I know this is a Euro model, but I always thought the 530i came out in `93 in Europe, along with the 540i and were both V-8 equipped, and had the later wide kidney grille. Anytime you see the narrow one, it's a pre `93 if Euro, or pre`94 if US. Therefore, I'd say it's a 525i or 535i with a sport air dam. Also those mirrors are the early ones. In `93 they changed them.
antp ◊ 2007-02-09 19:54	It is registered as being a 3-litre, as Sunbar wrote. From Wikipedia: Quote The E34 530i was available in Europe starting from 1988, but never in North America. It had a M30B30 3.0 liter inline-6 engine producing 188 hp. The early 530i was discontinued in 1990. The new 530i model, which was also sold in North America, was introduced in 1992.
